The Local Builder is an Adelaide based residential building practice, founded by Ethan Haylock and working across new homes, renovations, and architect-led projects. We take on a deliberately small number of builds each year, allowing us to stay close to every site and protect the standard of work that brought us here.

Our approach is built on long relationships with the architects, designers, and trades we trust, and a belief that the difference between a good build and a great one sits in the details that don't get photographed. We're hands on, particular, and proud of the homes we leave behind.
